She is a recent winner of the “Queen Elizabeth” competitions in Brussels (2019) and Indianapolis (2018). He also won first prize at the international competitions “Johannes Brahms” (Austria, 2013) and “Andrea Postacchini” (Italy, 2012). She is also a winner of the “Fritz Kreisler” competition (Vienna, 2014) and recently won the “Carl Flesch” Prize at the academy of the same name in Baden-Baden, Germany. She has performed as a soloist on important venues such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, St Martin-in-the-Fields in London, Konzerthaus Vienna, Shanghai Concert Hall, Romanian Athenaeum, Giuseppe Verdi Hall in Trieste, Auckland Town Hall and Kanematsu Auditorium Tokyo. Ioana Cristina Goicea was born in Bucharest, in 1992, in a family of musicians. He studied with professors Ştefan Gheorghiu, Mariana Sîrbu (at the University of Music in Leipzig), Petru Munteanu (at the University of Music in Rostock), Krzysztof Wegrzyn (at the University of Music and Theater in Hanover). He currently teaches violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The artist plays the Gianbattista Guadagnini (Parma, 1761) on a violin, donated by the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben Hamburg.
