Educational program about the blockchain industry, in Bucharest: how to register

Romania is bad at digitizing public services – we are still at the stage of the rail file. We are in last place in the European Union in this respect and 26th out of 27 in terms of human capital. So, in Bucharest there will be an educational program about the blockchain industry.

This means that less than a third of people between the ages of 16 and 74 have at least basic digital skills, according to a report from the European Commission. As a reference, the blockchain industry can create 40 million new jobs worldwide by 2030.

But we can recover, just like the speed of the Internet: the gap with the West could be turned into a competitive advantage. This is if the authorities, academia and the private sector collaborate and take the appropriate measures, says Sorin Cristian Niță, associate professor of the Faculty of Business Administration with Teaching in Foreign Languages (FABIZ) at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (ASE), quoted by Economic.

The Blockchain Marathon educational program will take place on May 7 and 14 at FABIZ headquarters

Thus, FABIZ-ASE, together with private partners such as Stakeborg, VD Law Group, Cryptoverse Academy, bitMahavi and Digitalio launches the “Blockchain Marathon” workshop, which will take place on May 7 and 14 at FABIZ headquarters, in Calea Griviței 2- 2A. To register on the list of participants, you can access the FABIZ website.

“Romania today enjoys one of the highest internet speeds, because it missed the first phases of development that involved the copper cables of the telecom infrastructure. Our country has skipped this stage by directly adopting high-speed fiber optic internet. From the point of view of the digitalization of the Romanian society, the same recipe could be applied in the case of the widespread adoption of blockchain technology “, says Sorin Cristian Niță, quoted by the same source.

Thus, during the two days of the “Blockchain Marathon” Stakeborg specialists Evelyne Vîlcu, Răzvan Dumitrașcu and Matei Vârsta will analyze the components of blockchain technology and its uses in the financial field, while Endi Ungureanu and Cosmin Tronaru will address the topic of opportunities brought by non-tokens. -fungibles (NFTs) and the development of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).
