The President of the Senate, Florin Cîțu, met on Wednesday with the President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski. Cîţu delivered a speech at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, chaired by the President of Ukraine. Florin Cîțu wrote on Facebook that it is “an honor” to be in Ukraine.

The visit, planned since the beginning of April, focused on the atrocities committed by the Russian armed forces in Ukraine and the country’s post-war reconstruction plan.
