Most recently, on Sunday morning, a first case of monkeypox was reported in Greece. The patient from Greece is a tourist who arrived from Great Britain. Both the patient and the person accompanying him to Greece were transferred to a hospital, isolated by other patients. The result of the tests, which is expected on Monday, would confirm or disprove the diagnosis. For Greece, which is expecting a large number of foreign tourists, the presence of the virus will be a big problem.

Smallpox smallpox is said to be a disease from Africa – more precisely, from the center and west of the continent. From there, the disease spread to North America, Europe and Australia.
