More and more missiles continue to hit the Kharkov region


Several rockets hit the Kharkov region and the Ukrainian city of the same name on Sunday (May 29th), while local authorities said two people were injured in the village of Tsyrkuny, a few kilometers northeast of the city.

Kharkov, Ukraine’s second largest city, has been relatively quiet since Ukrainian forces recaptured its territory and repulsed Russian troops this month, allowing authorities to reopen the city’s subway network.

Russia did not immediately comment on the situation in Kharkov. She denied targeting civilians in what she called a “special military operation” launched on February 24.

Ukrainian troops recaptured numerous settlements in the northern and eastern cities of Kharkov, the second largest city in Ukraine.

Army officials said they had recaptured the village of Ruska Lozova, north of the city, despite “losses,” according to CNN, according to epicnews.ro.
