Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said Vladimir Putin was using a general strategy that was unknown to anyone in Ukraine.

Asked if Vladimir Putin was using food, energy and immigration as forms of pressure, the Pentagon chief explained that the Kremlin leader had used “a series of levers from the beginning.”

President Vladimir Putin “intended to use massive force, speed and power very quickly” to occupy Kiev and remove the Ukrainian administration, but failed, noted Lloyd Austin.

“We have noticed that the Russian army has proceeded very slowly and unsuccessfully on the battlefield, and we would expect the Russian president to use other levers or other tools of power, and that is exactly what he is doing, but from the point of view of strategy. In general, this is unknown, “said Lloyd Austin.
