Ukraine launches Grad missiles at Russian military targets

Ukrainian soldiers fired rockets at Russian positions and targets in the Lugansk region of Donbas on Tuesday (April 26th).

The command of Ukraine’s armed forces operations announced last week that its forces in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions had repulsed 63 Russian attacks and destroyed 55 tanks and dozens of vehicles, including 13 tanks in the last 24 hours, according to Reuters.

Russia said Tuesday it had hit Ukraine with rockets, planes and artillery overnight, killing at least 560 Ukrainian fighters and destroying dozens of armored vehicles, missile systems and other military equipment.

These rocket launchers sent to Russian targets in Donbas come to continue Russia’s February 24 conflict over Ukraine

Russia’s February 24th invasion of Ukraine has killed thousands, displaced millions, and raised fears of a wider confrontation between Russia and the United States – by far the world’s two largest nuclear powers.

Putin says the “special military operation” in Ukraine is necessary because the United States was using Ukraine to threaten Russia, and Ukraine has been blamed for the genocide of the Russian-speaking population.

Ukraine says it is fighting Russian land grabbing and that Putin’s accusations of genocide are stupid.
