VIDEO A visitor threw a tart at the Mona Lisa painting at the Louvre Museum

The tart stopped in the window protecting Da Vinci’s work, which suffered no damage.

Museum overseers detained the person and fired him.

According to some witnesses, the attacker was in a wheelchair and had a wig. In fact, he launched messages in favor of protecting the planet.

This is not the first time the famous opera has been the target of attacks. Most recently, in 2009, a Russian tourist threw a cup of tea at her. She was left without a trace because of the armored glass that protects her.

In 1956 a man threw acid on the painting, and another threw a stone and managed to break the glass and damage the painting.

But the worst was the “Gioconda” when it was stolen in 1911. The culprit was Vincenzo Peruggia, a former employee of the Louvre.
