VIDEO: Power supply has been affected in Lviv

The power supply was damaged in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv during an overnight airstrike, which caused problems for the city’s infrastructure, the mayor said.

Lviv Governor Maksym Kozystskyy said that although there were train delays, supplies would be restored.

“We will do our utmost to keep the Lviv region on the freight access route,” he said.

The mayor of the city said that a power plant was damaged in a strike on Tuesday, May 3, which also interrupted the supply of some neighborhoods in the city.

Carbonized scrap metal could be seen among the power plant infrastructure, while some of the station’s exterior walls also appeared to be damaged.
